Facial Dry Brushing:
You've probable heard about how dry-brushing the body is beneficial for the lymphatic system. Well so is dry brushing your face.
Facial dry brushing promotes a radiant complexion by gently lifting dead skin cells, detoxifying clogged pores, stimulating cell renewal, smoothing fine lines, toning the skin and reducing puffiness, stagnant lymph and dark circles. The benefits are endless and the effort is no more than 2-3 minutes daily.
Brushing Ritual:
We suggest dry brushing in the morning, before starting your skincare routine
Start at the neck - Brush downward from behind the ears to the collarbone to open lymphatic pathways.
Jaw & cheeks - Sweep outward from the centre of the face towards the ears.
Forehead - Brush upwards from brown to hairline, then outward toward the temples.
Eyes & brows - Gently sweep above and below the eyes to ease puffiness.
When you are done brushing your entire face, store your brush in your pouch and wash your face or simply skip this step altogether and continue with your morning skincare.
Use daily or a few times per week for a radiant, sculpted complexion.
How to care for your brush:
Because the facial brush is for DRY use only, please do not wash your brush with soap or rinse it with water. Your brush will last for many years, if you take properly care of it:
Once a week, sprinkle your brush with a little dash of arrowroot powder or corn starch
Massage the powder gently into the bristles, to absorb oil buildup and maintain the bristle quality
Tap out any excess powder and store your brush in the cotton pouch between uses
Do not use on wet, damp or broken, irritated skin!
