Palo Santo, meaning “Holy Wood”, is a revered tree native to South America and belongs to the same aromatic family as Frankincense, Myrrh, and Copal. For centuries, its smoke has been woven into spiritual and healing practices by shamans, curanderos, and ancestral wisdom keepers of the Andes and Amazon. It is believed to carry the spirit of the tree itself, offering not just scent, but sacred presence.

Its healing properties and essential oils only develop after it has died naturally, often taking 60–100 years to grow, and another 5–10 years lying peacefully on the earth. Our Palo Santo is wild-harvested in Peru, only collected from trees that have died naturally and matured in rest, in full alignment with ancestral tradition and local forest laws. We work directly with a small, family-run supplier who honors ethical harvesting and reforestation practices.
